In addition to photography and digital art, I write and illustrate books ranging from humorous children’s poetry and animal stories to fantasy fiction inspired by music, folklore, and the natural world.
My writing projects often combine words and images, bringing together many of the same interests in imagination, observation, color, and storytelling that have shaped my photographic work.

The first of a series of three collections of playful rhymes exploring all the wonderfully silly things an ant cannot do. Written for young children and the adults who read with them, the book combines simple wordplay with colorful, imaginative illustrations.
